WELCOME TO MICK'S HYPNOSPACE ARCHIVES

Greetings, weary netizen, and welcome to my domain. Here you will find some of the last (as of me writing this, 07/04/2013) relics of Hypnospace. While they may not be perfectly preserved (and they may be very broken), I hope they will be of interest to you.

BUT WHAT IS HYPNOSPACE?

I'm glad you asked. Hypnospace was a Sleeptime Computing network back around the turn of the millennium. Once a vibrant community, it shut down without warning on 01/01/00 due to the Y2K Mindcrash.

HOW DID YOU GET THESE PAGES?

I was a weird kid. I loved the idea of actually having my favourite pages with me, and after much bugging my coder older brother, he hacked together a page downloader. While I could never crack the encryption on the pages, just having them on a USB with me was more than enough.

SO HOW DID YOU BREAK THE ENCRYPTION?

Actually, I didn't break anything. It was all actually Tom.K. A few years back I reached out looking for someone to help me crack these babies open, and he did all the heavy lifting. While the pages will look very zoomed out on a modern browser, and some things may be broken (like the wordwrapping BWL), his work is nonetheless incredible.

Ah, fine. I've kept you long enough. word of warning though, it was the style at the time to have bright colours, excessive gifs, and autoplay music.

The Template
An official Merchantsoft template, an incredible amount of hypnospace's pages were variations of this. And for good reason! It's a functional, easy to use, and very nice looking design.

Joke's Funny
In hindsight, this was probably some funny guy screwing around, but I still like to imagine this was truly the work of some bemused goodtime valley resident.
